The Flexible Learning Centre is a Library and computer resource centre in one room.
We have 30 computers with internet access. We have a large varied section of fiction books available for students to borrow and a section of non-fiction books for reference use in the library.
Students are able to pay for photocopying, laminating and the binding of projects. There is a stationary shop where students can purchase school and exam equipment.
Students are able to use the FLC before school, during their break and lunch time to complete their coursework and homework.
Year 12 & 13 students are able to use the FLC/library during their free lessons. There is a detailed UCAS and careers section, A Level text books and computers for research.
On a Monday to Thursday after school the FLC is open until 4.00pm for Homework Club. Students are able to sign in and use all the resources available to them to complete their homework and coursework.
Mrs Kellingley is the Librarian and works in the FLC and Homework Club every day. She is always able to help students within the FLC
